6.5 Creedmoor Shoots The Lights Out

James P. of Texas sent us a note regarding his recent build. He purchased the following items from Northland Shooters Supply for his build.

– 26″ Criterion 6.5 Creedmoor in a Varmint contour with an 8 twist
– NSS precision ground recoil lug
– NSS squared and trued barrel nut
– Rifle Basix SAV-1 Trigger

James had the following to say.

“I purchased a 26″ Criterion varmint heavy, trued lug and nut for a savage 10T action while I was deployed. Had it chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. This thing shoots the lights out with everything from 107 SMK’s to 147 ELD-X’s. This group was from last weekend shooting 129-grain soft points at 2950 fps.”
