6.5×47 Lapua Shilen Build Success

Dave H. of South Dakota sent us a few photos of his 6.5×47 Lapua targets using a Shilen barrel purchased from Northland Shooters Supply (NSS).

Dave is using a 28” Shilen Stainless Select Match Bull barrel, chambered in 6.5×47 Lapua with an 8 twist. He’s also using a Savage Model 12 action with a Choate Tactical stock, NSS precision ground recoil lug and NSS squared and trued barrel nut. The photo shows a 5 shot group with Berger 130 Grain bullets and H4350 powder.
