F-Class Competitor Chooses Criterion Barrels

gun and targets

Martin J. of Michigan recently sent us a message regarding his happy choice to start using Criterion barrels for his F-class rifle builds. Here is what he had to say.

“Over the years I’ve tried a number of different barrels on my Savage actions, from top name barrel makers and they all shot well. But, I’m sold on my Criterion barrels because they shoot consistently higher Scores in my F-class shoots. The rifle in the photo has a Criterion 6.5×55 Swede 28″ Bull barrel. The action is a single shot Savage 12 . The scope is a SWFA  fixed 20 power. The barrel has 2300 rounds fired through it and I still shot 594 out of 600 at my last F-class match. The 5 round targets, all shot at 600 yards, show that if you do your bit on the reloading bench and on the shooting range, your Criterion barrel will excel. I expect to get at least another 1000 rounds or more of competitive shooting from this barrel. I just received my third Criterion barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor 28″ Bull to take over when the 6.5 Swede is shot out. I have no doubt it will exceed my expectations. Thanks for keeping me competitive!”

Thanks for the message Martin and happy shooting!
