Shilen 6.5 Creedmoor Three Shot Group at 800 Yards

William D. of Arizona sent us some information about his recent Shilen Select Match 6.5 Creedmoor build.

William had the following to say.

“I’m a little bit tickled to show you this and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I shot this 800 yards three shot group with factory sig elite ammo 140 gr OTM. This is the Shilen select match Savage pre-fit you sold me in a varmint profile 1-8 twist. It’s on my Savage model 11 trophy Hunter action in a B&C stock and a vortex pst 6-24×50 scope. Sweet!!!! I know it looks like two shots but I know the third shot covered 1/2 of the first impact.”
