Here is what Eddie had to say about his build:
“I just recently purchased a Savage small shank 6.5 Creedmoor barrel from you made by Criterion. It’s an 8-twist 26” length. I started load development and barrel break-in yesterday and finished up today. I just wanted you to know these Criterion barrels are awesome. This is my first Criterion barrel so I am pleasantly surprised. I usually shoot Krieger barrels but by gunsmith sold his lathe and stopped chambering barrels for now. He is actually the man that sent me to you for a barrel purchase (Cole Sawyer). I am extremely happy with my purchase also! I just figured you would like to see some of the results of what you are selling. I will be buying more barrels from you definitely.
It is a Savage model 11 I bought a few years ago. I decided I would re-barrel it and try out the Savage action. I have had several rifles built off Remington 700 actions but never a Savage that I can do myself. I bought a Bell & Carlson Style 6 stock, EGW 20 MOA base, Mark 4 30mm rings, and right now I have a Vortex viper HST 6x24x50mm. I was really surprised that this Criterion barrel went through break-in so good and settled down on a tack-driving load so quickly. Sunday I am going to stretch its legs out to 1000-yards to make sure the load is solid but so far it looks promising. Thanks again!”
