6.5 Creedmoor Shilen Rifle Build

Steve S. of Oklahoma sent us some photos of his 6.5 Creedmoor build using a Shilen Rifles barrel purchased from Northland Shooters Supply (NSS).

Here are some of the components Steve used on his build:

  • 26” Shilen- stainless select match- small shank- Varmint contour- 8 twist
  • NSS action wrench
  • Forster headspace gauges
  • Boyds Gunstocks
  • Nosler Bullets
  • Varget Hodgdon powder
  • Starline brass

Here is what Steve had to say.

“Just want to say thanks for the two great barrels, a 6.5 Creedmoor Shilen barrel and a 22-250 Criterion barrel. Both shoot great. I also got your action wrench and headspace gauges. Here is a picture of the 6.5 Creedmoor group at 100yds. It’s in a Boyds stock with pillar and glass bedding.”
