11-Year-old takes 2nd against adult shooters!

We talked quite a bit last season about Bryce Burch, the young 10-year-old shooter, and how well he was doing against the adults with his @criterionbarrels 6 BR Norma barrel and Savage target action purchased from Northland Shooters Supply (NSS).

At 11 years old, Bryce still gives the big boys a run for their money. He placed 2nd out of 22 adult shooters Saturday giving up only 1 point. The guy who beat him became the 5th person to ever clean the course of fire at Dead Zero Shooting Park in Spencer, TN.

Bryce got his redemption in the bonus round called the DRS challenge. It consists of 4 shots at 4 distances, 600 yds and beyond. If you miss a distance, you’re done. Find yourself at the 1000 yd line with a hit and you have completed the challenge.

The winner of the match failed to make contact at the first distance of the challenge while Bryce cleaned it at 600, 800, 900, & 1000 yards.
