20 Practical with 0.175 inch Group

20 PRACTICAL WITH .175” GROUP

Mark K. of Wisconsin sent us some photos of his sharp looking 20 Practical build using a Criterion Barrels Inc. barrel purchased from Northland Shooters Supply.

Here are the barrel specs on Mark’s barrel:

  • 26” Criterion- Bull contour- Small shank Savage- 20 Practical- 11 twist

Here is what Mark had to say:
“This group was fired with a 20 practical Criterion 26 inch 11 twist Bull Barrel. I am using 32-grain Hornady V-max bullets with 26.5 grains of h335 powder. This is a Boyd’s varmint thumbhole stock. A coworker of mine has a laser and can do pretty much anything on it. There’s a dragon engraved on the other side of the stock. I will try to send a picture of that as well. I have two 20 practical barrels and a friend of mine has two as well after he tried mine it was a must-have for him. He just ordered a 6mm bench rest barrel and I installed that for him yesterday. I am very happy with the barrels I have purchased over the years from your company. I am sure I will be buying more in the future. Thanks again.”
