223 REM VLD Shilen Build

Aaron C. sent us a photo and info on his recent build using a Shilen Rifles Inc. 223 Rem VLD barrel purchased from Northland Shooters Supply.

Here are the specs on his build:

  • 26” Shilen Stainless select match- heavy palma contour- 223 Rem VLD- 7 twist with muzzle thread
  • Forster headspace gauges
  • Cerakote in Tungsten

Here is what Aaron had to say:

“The 223 barrel you sent me shot a .19 MOA @ 300 yards (3 shot) today which I don’t think I sent any pics on that one yet but it shoots better without gloves. All your barrels are shooters! The group was shot with 73 eld match which aren’t my favorite.”
