Criterion 204 Ruger Match Bull Barrel

Chris S. of Missouri sent us some photos and info on his new 204 Ruger Match build using a barrel he purchased from Northland Shooters Supply (NSS). The groups he sent are the first shots out of the barrel with no load development.

Here are some of the items Chris used on his build:

• 26”- Criterion- 204 Ruger Match- Small shank Savage bull contour- 11 twist
• NSS Precision ground recoil lug
• NSS Squared and trued barrel nut
• Rifle Basix Trigger

Here is what Chris had to say about his build:
“I have bought 10 or more barrels from you all and they all perform great, but this might be my favorite so far. I put the rifle together, cleaned it, and shot these two groups with 2 different loads I already had loaded from the previous barrel. The first picture is the first 6 shots from the rifle. The very bottom was the first shot with the gun bore sighted. The group is with 32 grain Vmax, Benchmark powder and CCI 400 primers. The second picture is a group with 32 grain Nosler Combined Technology bullets, XBR8208 powder and CCI 400. The flier was likely the guy running it. I think it’s going to be a shooter. Thanks”
