Here is what Hunter had to say about his rifle and his elk hunt:
“I got my first kill with my rifle I built through you yesterday. Little further than I’d have preferred but practiced to that range a good amount (just under 1,000). Shot a spike elk (that’s all we can shoot in our general season around here) at 955 yards, one shot there. I was using 212 grain Hornady ELD-X bullets with 72.5 grains of H-1000 powder, GM215M Primers, and ADG brass. Consistently shoots in the .4’s if I do my part.
We also did a Montana deer hunt we went 5 for 7 on Mulies. Didn’t get any good pictures for you on that one. That was a great trip besides the -11 degree weather. Thank you again for everything”
