Adolphus J. of South Carolina sent some photos of his recent build using a Shilen Rifles 260 Rem VLD chambered barrel purchased from Northland Shooters Supply (NSS).

Here are the components Adolthus used from NSS:

  • 26” Shilen stainless select match, heavy palma contour, 260 Rem VLD, 8-twist with muzzle thread
  • NSS squared and trued barrel nut
  • NSS 4” barrel nut wrench
  • Pacific Tool and Gauge 260 Rem go and no-go gauges

“This is what I’ve been looking for. Thanks for your input on my many questions when I called. The world needs more people like you. 👍🏼 I settled on H-4831 with some really nice velocities on both 130 and 142gr. bullets. I also worked up comparable loads using H4350. The chassis is from MDT for a Savage Axis.
