6 ARC Build

Mike H. of Minnesota sent us some photos of his recent 6 ARC build using a Shilen Rifles, Inc. barrel purchased from NSS.

Here are some of the components Mike used on his build:

• 26” Shilen Stainless select match barrel- small shank Heavy palma contour- 7.5 Ratchet twist with muzzle thread
• Savage Arms model 10 receiver
• NSS precision ground recoil lug
• NSS squared and trued barrel nut
• PT&G headspace gauges
• MDT ACC chassis
• Vortex Strike Eagle scope
• YHM Resonator suppressor

“Just wanted to take a minute to say thank you and share my level of happiness with the 6 ARC Savage action and Shilen barrel, nut and lug you sold me last month. I finally fired enough factory ammo through it to start working up reloads this past week and found her sweet spot. Shot a 1.020″ 5-round group at 300 yards using 26.6 grains of IMR 4895 and Hornady 108-grain ELD-M’s.”
