6mm DASHER TL3 SHOULDERED PREFIT BUILD
John of California sent us some info and pictures on his 6mm Dasher build using a Criterion shouldered prefit that he purhcased from Northland Shooters Supply.
Here are some items John purhcased from NSS for his build:
– 30” Criterion Shouldered Prefit- Straight 1.250” Diameter- 6 Dasher- 7.5 Twist
– Zermatt Arms- TL3 Single Shot- Right Bolt/Left Port
Here is what John had to say about his build:
“I finally got my 6mm Dasher put together and took it out for a spin yesterday. I just want to share my first shots and testing with you guys. I repeated 3 sets of 3-shot groups for each load in a round robin and so far, all loads looked good.
It would be better with a larger sample size, but it’s better than what I see others post online with their one group wonder and funneling into it without more validations.
Please see attached pictures of my setup and targets @100yd. I did a 1 shot zero & cold new bore at 50 yards and took it to 100 yards to start the test. I marked up the sheet of my test results so it can be analyzed better. Got 28 rounds in from the test and saving the 72 for our next local mid range or long range match at Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club (BRRC).
