Northland Shooters Supply (NSS) stocks the Python HD Barrel Vise. This barrel vise was designed to work on carbon fiber barrels where you have approximately 1.5" of barrel metal to make contact with the barrel vise. It will also work on steel barrels.

Some of the features of the Python HD Barrel Vise include:

NOTE: When applying more than 50 ft-lbs of torque, or when working with Cerakote or painted barrels, we highly recommend using the Python Barrel Wrap to help protect the barrel finish and improve grip. We also recommend the Python Barrel wrap when removing factory installed Howa, Remington, or Tikka barrels, as these barrels are often installed very tightly by the manufacturer.
