308 F-TR SHOULDERED PREFIT BUILD

Robert of Tennessee sent us some photos and info on his 308 FTR build using a Criterion shouldered prefit and Zermatt Arms TL3 he purchased from Northland Shooters Supply.

Here are the specifications for the parts Robert purchased from Northland.

32” Criterion- Shouldered Prefit- Bull Contour- 308 FTR- 9 Twist With Muzzle Thread
Zermatt Arms TL3- Single Shot- Right Bolt/Right Port

Here is what Robert had to say about his build:

“I’m in the early stages of load development with this build but I’m impressed. This barrel has about 115 rounds on it but it is shooting .177 MOA (untuned) with the load I’ve used in other rifles. Alpha SRP brass, Varget Powder, Berger 200.20X bullets .015” off the lands.

I ran charges from 42.5 to 43.5. My previous build liked 43.5 and this one does as well. At 43.50 grains, my mean MV was 2643.6, ES 4.1, SD 2.1 (10 rounds).”
