The NSS Precision Ground Heavy Duty Rem/Age recoil lug design incorporates a 0.244″ thickness with parallel precision ground surfaces. The NSS Rem/Age recoil lug is designed Remington 700 Rem/Age conversions.

All NSS recoil lugs are heat-treated to a range of 38 to 42 Rockwell hardness for product integrity. The reason for the precision ground recoil lug is to eliminate misalignment of the barrel to the receiver which is caused by a recoil lug that is not perfectly flat. The pin can be unthreaded from the recoil lug so you can use the NSS Taper Loc tool on your Rem/age system.
