Shilen 270 Win Build
Justin F. of Oklahoma sent us some photos of his 270 Win build using a Shilen Rifles Inc. barrel purchased from Northland Shooters Supply.
Here are some of the components used in Justin’s build.
– 26” Shilen stainless select match barrel- varmint contour- 270 Win.- small shank Savage- 10 twist- recessed crown
– NSS squared and trued barrel nut
– Pacific Tool & Gauge headspace gauges
– APA (American Precision Arms) Gen 2 little bastard muzzle brake in Nitride

The barrel that I received is a true shooter. 5 shot group at 150 yds with factory Hornady Precision Hunter 145 grain ammo in .270 Winchester. The action is off of a Savage Axis. MDT Oryx chassis, Vortex Optics Diamondback scope, and a Rifle Basix trigger. And of course, you already know it has the Shilen 26″ barrel and Little Bastard brake that was purchased from you.
