Norman of Louisiana sent us some info and pictures on his 6.5 Creedmoor build using a Shilen barrel and a Zermatt Arms TL3 he purchased from Northland Shooters Supply.

“I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the team at Northland Shooting Supply. From start to finish, your customer support has been outstanding. You offer fair pricing, fast shipping, and a really knowledgeable approach that makes the process easy, especially for a custom build like this one.

Attached is a snapshot of my recent 6.5 Creedmoor build. I used your (NSS) TL3 short action receiver milled for AICS magazines and (NSS) 26″ Shilen stainless select match bull barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor (1:8 twist), utilizing the Savage-style pre-fit barrel nut system. I also went with the (NSS) TriggerTech special trigger and paired everything with the (NSS) MDT ACC Premier Gen2 chassis. The setup includes a Burris F1 Veracity scope, Seekins Precision mounts, and a few other upgrades like the Area 419 Hellfire brake, Atlas bipod, and Accu-Shot monopod.

The two five-shot groups pictured were fired while forming brass and roughing in a powder charge. The performance right out of the gate speaks volumes about the quality of your components and setup.

I’m really enjoying both the Zermatt TL3 and the ACC chassis—they complement each other really well. The action is smooth and solid, and the chassis makes setup and adjustments feel intuitive. It’s been a great platform to build on, and I’m excited to keep dialing everything in as I refine my load development.
