SHILEN 6mm CREEDMOOR VLD & ZERMATT ORIGIN BUILD

Ken of Florida sent us some photos and info on his 6mm Creedmoor VLD and Zermatt Arms Origin build. 

Here are some of the components Ken purchased from Northland Shooters Supply: 

–    28” Shilen Stainless Select Match- Small Shank- Bull Contour- 6 Creedmoor VLD- 7 Twist 

–    NSS Squared and Trued Barrel Nut 

–    Zermatt Arms Origin- Left Hand- Beadblast Finish 

–    MDT XRS Chassis- Left Hand- Black 

–    MDT XRS Length of Pull Spacer Weight 

–    TriggerTech Diamond- Pro Curved- Left Hand 

Here is what Ken had to say about his build:

“Just got done sighting in my build. 6mm Creedmoor With Hornady boxed 108 ELDM ammo (green target). It was a 5 shot group at 100 yards. 

I have an MDT LSS-XL stock on my Savage Precision 6.5 PRC. I like the XRS Chassis a whole lot better for bench shooting. The Zermatt Origin is smooth as glass. The Trigger Tech Diamond is fantastic for target shooting. 

Here’s today’s shoot with the 6mm Creedmoor. I used 40.9 grains of Hodgdon H4350 powder, Berger 109 grain Long Range Hybrid Target bullets, CCI Benchrest Primers and Hornady brass. Playing with seating depths using 3 shot groups at 100 yards (yellow target). 

No sled used either time.”
