300 WIN MAG MATCH BUILD

Mason of Texas sent us some photos and info on his 300 Win Mag Match build using a Criterion barrel and Zermatt Arms action purchased from Northland Shooters Supply. 

Here are some of the components Mason used on his build:

–    26” Criterion- Small shank- MTU Contour- 300 Win Mag Match- 10 Twist with Muzzle thread 

–    Zermatt Arms Origin- Right Hand/Long Action- Nitride 

–    NSS Squared and Trued Barrel Nut 

–    NSS Action Wrench 

–    NSS 4” Barrel Nut Wrench 

–    Forster Belted Headspace Gauges 

–    Cerakote Blackout E-100 on Barrel and Barrel Nut 

Here is what Mason had to say about his build:

“Hey wanted to provide some feedback on a rifle I built using a Zermatt Origin action and a Criterion 26 inch MTU prefit barrel in 300WM. This rifle has been consistent 1/2 MOA or better with handloads. The picture of the target is a group with 215 Berger hybrids with a velocity of 2900 FPS.

I am a big fan of the Origin action. The bolt is smooth and looks great with the fluting and super convenient that it follows the R700 footprint. 

I also shoot out to 1 mile regularly with this rifle. I am currently attempting a Cold Bore 1 mile shot with it.”
