CRITERION 223 REM MATCH BUILD

Chet from Wisconsin sent us some photos of his 223 Rem Match build using a Criterion barrel he purchased from Northland Shooters Supply. 

Here are the specs on some of the components he purchased:

–    26” Criterion- Small Shank Varmint Contour- 223 Rem Match- 8 Twist 

–    NSS Precision Ground Recoil Lug 

–    NSS Squared and Trued Barrel Nut 

Here is what Chet had to say about his build:

“Hello, I’m attaching a couple of pictures from a recent Savage build with a replacement Criterion 223 Remington Match barrel, 1:8 twist that I purchased from you. The action is a factory Savage, with a MDT field stock and a Leupold 5-25 scope.

–    16.8 grains of Hodgdon Accurate LT-30 powder with neck sized (Lee) Starline brass and 77 grain SMK bullets.

–    5 shot group @100 yards measuring 0.15 MOA
