New 6BRA Chamber

Northland Shooters Supply will now be stocking 6BRA (6BR Ackley Improved) barrels from Criterion Barrels, Inc. in Savage small shank, Savage large shank, and Rem/Age barrels.

We are currently taking pre-orders and custom orders for this chamber.

The 6BRA is based off the 6BR cartridge. The brass can be easily fire formed from 6BR brass or you can purchase Alpha Munitions 6BRA factory brass if you prefer not to fire form. It uses a .308 bolt face. The 6BRA changes the 6BR’s 30-degree shoulder angle to a 40-degree shoulder angle giving you more powder compacity and higher velocities but does not change the neck length giving you the same 6BR neck length. You can purchase reloading dies from Whidden Gunworks, Harrell’s Precision, and Wilson for the 6BRA.
