224 Valkyrie Build Success

Mark A. of South Carolina sent us this picture of his Shilen Rifles, Inc. 224 Valkyrie build purchased from Northland Shooters Supply (NSS). Here are the components Mark used on his build from Northland.

• 26” Stainless Select Match 224 Valkyrie Shilen barrel in a 6.5 Ratchet Twist barrel throated to his dummy rounds with a bead blast finish.

• Savage Target Action

• NSS precision ground recoil lug

• NSS squared and trued barrel nut

• NSS action wrench

• NSS 4” barrel nut wrench

• Manson 224 Valkyrie headspace gauges

Here is what Mark had to say: “I received my Shilen Barrel in 224 Valkyrie the other day and got it all put together. I know it took a long time to get the barrel, but I will say it was definitely worth the wait. I want to thank you again for all your time and hard work in helping me do this, and I greatly appreciate it. Below is a picture of a target shot with this rifle at 100 yards. It is a three-shot group.”
