SHILEN 223 REMINGTON AND ZERMATT ARMS TL3 SINGLE SHOT BUILD

Earl M. of Idaho sent us some pictures of his 223 Remington build using a Shilen barrel and a Zermatt Arms TL3 single shot action purchased from Northland Shooters Supply.

Here are the specs on some of the items he purchased from NSS.

• 26” Shilen-Stainless Select Match- Bull Contour- 223 Remington with a .250” neck- 14 Twist
• Zermatt Arms TL3- Single Shot- Right Bolt/Left Port

“Thought I’d send you a couple photos of one of my builds using a TL3 action, barrel, and barrel nut I got from your shop. 

• TL3 – short action, single shot, RBLP, bead blasted finish, .378 bolt head
• Shilen – .223, 14 twist, .250 neck, 26″, bull barrel 
• Target is 5 shot groups at 100 yards using Berger 55 grain FB Target bullets and Alliant AR Comp powder
• Sightron scope
• Masterpiece Arms chassis”
